Jackson is the son of Todd Chiniquy and does not officially shoot weddings for North By Northwest, mainly due to the fact that he is only 13 years old. He has on occasion proofed and critiqued some of the finished productions and has actually given us some great insight. He did have the opportunity to film one wedding though. At age four he went with his Father to shoot a wedding of a colleague and competing videographer. The groom suggested giving Jackson a camera to see what he would come up with. We were in tears laughing watching him go to town with the camera. Surprisingly, he actually came up with some very creative shots.
Jackson was born with the same passion for life that his Father has. In school last year he entered a Reflections competition where he did a presentation on video and took State. Jackson scripted, shot and edited the complete project by himself.
Jackson plays all sports and excels at everything he does. He is in his third year of tackle football and starts on both offense, defense as well as special teams. He and his Dad spend a lot of time riding motorcycles. If he can get his Mother convinced, he will ride Baja Mexico with his Father this coming March.
